Over the hills
 
This is a pretty new series, created by Rhysicus productions 2008/2009. The storys are set on the newly established preserved railway, that runs from Llandeerdog, through Pant-y-gassog and up the steep slope of the Mynydd Ethenol, to Penyiog.
 
The series currently has 11 episodes, but is subject to change.
 
Episode 1 - The Beginning.
 
Dai is the railways only running locomotive, he's old and in disrepair, but he tries his best to keep the railway going. but on the day that detirmines the future of the railway, can he keep the wheels turning?
 
Episode 2 - Rivalry.
 
Dai is sent away for repair, and the new engines operate the railway. But when old GWR and LMS rivalry makes the engines big headed, things are bound to go wrong.
 
Episode 3 - Confidence.
 
When the colliery in Penyiog is opened, and a new contract comes in, the engines all need to pull together to proove they can still haul cargo on time, as well as run to a tightly formed timetable. But when the new engine, Simerson, gets a push in the right direction, has he been pushed too far?
 
Episode 4 - Rememberence.
 
Dai thinks back to the good old days on the Somerset and Dorset railway. when he runs out of steam whilst hauling the Pines express, they discover a deadly flaw along the line, but can they stop the approaching express train in time?
 
Episode 5 - Expansion.
 
British railways has decided to close down the line over the Penwyth beacons. the L&PLR is detirmined to save whats left of it, and provide a mainline railway service to Blaenberris, over the mountains. with 42 miles of steep hills, fast runs and impatient passengers, can the engines of the L&PLR rise to the challenge?
 
Episode 6 - Endurance.
 
An engine from cardiff arrives on railway, he's in disrepair and breaks down whilst pulling a coal train. when he gets back to Blaenberris, his foreman decides that he is passed his time, and scraps him. The engines attempt a daring rescue to save their new friend, but will they get found out?
 
Episode 7 - Discrimination.
 
When Nicky, the elderly S&D engine, and the new diesel have an argument, it causes nothing but bad feeling. but when Nickys life is in Danger, will the diesel swallow his pride to save a friend?
 
Episode 8 - Escape.
 
Simerson's clumsy nature usually lands him in trouble, but this time, it has landed him in the wrong end of the yard. He discovers 2 escapees, who are attempting to escape the cutters torch to the safety of the L&PLR. will they escape in time, and will they get sent back?
 
Episode 9 - perserveerance.
 
When the world of steam gala's opens a new portfolio in britains steam railways, the L&PLR prooves to be the cream on the cake. with many visiting engines, and some arragont ones to boot, will Dai bite his tounge to help the inexpeerenced engines?
 
Episode 10 - Gallantry.
 
A mainline diesel breaks down in Blaenberris, and the only avalible locomotives are Aled and Stephanie, the black 5 locomotives. When they run on the mainline, can they keep to the strict timetable of the red dragon express to London?
 
Episode 11 - Enterprising.
 
When a new engine, an A3 pacific known as Soliro, arrives on the railway, he tells the story of Mallards record breaking run, but adds a twist onto the story that noone has heard before.

Episode 12 - Foreign

2 Engines arrive from France to help with the heavy freight trains. Dai becomes Jealous and ends up being careless as a result which puts others at risk.

Episode 13 - Competition

A Rouge bus company has set itself the task of stealing the railways passengers and tries numerous tricks to steal them. The engines of the railway prove their metal and fight to keep their timings right, when it looks like the bus company has been defeated, they have one last trick up their sleeve.

Episode 14 - Dawlish Part 1

King Edward has grown rather bored of life on the L&PLR. He misses the excitement of his runs along the Great western route from London Paddington down to Penzance. The manager notices his discontent and makes the arrangments for a new group to use Edward to haul a special excursion train from Bristol Temple meads to Kingswear, which is the trip that Edward has been dreaming of for a long time. After his trip, he is shocked to discover that the group has contracted him to take the Torbay express, amongst other express runs on main line excursions.

Episode 15 - Dawlish Part 2
 
 Edward is happy that he is taking trains along the mainline once again, however the group decides to contract in a new locomotive to assist him. It is a hall class engine who is very cocky and seeks to discredit Edward at every oppertunity, however his own cockiness eventually gets the better of him, but it leaves Edward in an awkward position. 15 coaches over the South Devon Banks.... Solo....

Dai is the first engine to arrive on the railway, and impresses the managers by giving his all to keep the railway running despite technical problems.
